Molehill or Mountain?

We've all heard the GMT 320 war stories....

Now to add our own.

I must say the anticipation of receiving such a mammoth project was weighing quite heavily on my shoulders as the lead up to Semester 2 began.

My first worry was being torn away from my comfortable project group that I've been working with for three years on just about every single assignment that ever had to be handed in. To my absolute relief I've discovered that Expedition Alaska are easy going and get on with the work that is necessary without much fuss or argument.

My next concern was my lack of programming skills... this is still a concern but a shared concern for pretty much the whole of Expedition Alaska. So really we've just accumulated concerns there.. More updates on our programming process are sure to come.

The actual project assignments was also a concern for me personally but to my (quite frankly) astonishment, as a GMT 320 class that process was sorted out almost immediately with every group choosing a single project with no competition at all! Props to our GMT 320 group!!

So almost straight away I realized that this huge mountain I've created out of a currently molehill sized stress was without reason!

However I am sure as the project progresses that molehill sized stress will quite rightly become mountain sized but for now... One step at a time.
